Piano Music Composition
–by Richard Everett
I grew up on the Central Coast of California and started playing piano around the age of 7. My mom gave me my first lessons. Around 5th grade I decided I wanted to play trombone. I played in concert and marching band from 6th grade through my freshman year of high school. At that time I began to get serious about the piano. I mostly played by ear and taught myself how to improvise. I played in jazz band my junior and senior year of high school. I was fortunate enough to be able to go to the Berklee College of Music in Boston and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Music Composition. Since then I have played in numerous bands and taught piano on both sides of the country. I really enjoy playing…….. and teaching other people how to play….. the piano!
I’ve produced two CDs of piano music: “The Lounge Lizard” (standards) and “The Road Home” (originals). You can listen to either/both CDs below. I hope you enjoy the music.
I am available to play at your wedding ceremony, party, or special event. Please contact me here and I will get back to shortly. I look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you.
