Pittsburgh Piano Music…

Hello. I’m Richard Everett of Pittsburgh, a piano teacher with 30-plus years experience both performing and teaching.

I’m a Berklee College of Music (Boston) graduate with a degree in composition.   I am available to play at your wedding,  party,  or special event.

Lessons are available either at my studio in Rennerdale (Carnegie/Robinson area) or via FaceTime, Skype, or Zoom.  All ages and levels–including beginners–are welcome.  While I teach the essential basics, I try to make lessons fun by encouraging my students to play the styles of music they listen to and enjoy.

If you already play but would like to take your chops to the next level,  I can teach you how to learn songs by ear,  how to improvise,  or how to write down ideas you have into songs.

Currently I play keys and sing backup with No Bad JuJu, a Pittsburgh-based dynamic eight-piece band featuring a female lead vocalist backed by a driving rhythm and horn section.  No Bad JuJu has established itself as one of the regions hottest and most popular acts. Check out the site for upcoming dates.

I’m also the organist and contemporary musical director at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Moon Township.

Please contact me here and I will get back to you shortly.  I look forward to hearing from you!
